Course overview
About Bacon Park Golf Course
Bacon Park is a City of Savannah municipal golf course. The original 18 holes opened in 1926 to a Donald Ross design. The facility expanded to 27 holes in 1985, and Richard Mandell later restored the original Ross layout.
Mature oaks, rolling fairways and sloping greens give the Ross course its character. Well-placed bunkers reward a thoughtful approach. There is a driving range for a warm-up and a pro shop for supplies and refreshments.
